Where to Find Care

The Weight & Wellness Program at Maine Medical Center provides a multi-disciplinary team approach to evaluating and providing surgical solutions to patients seeking weight loss surgery. The program is an accredited bariatric center, meaning it has achieved the highest level of standards for care and treatment of patients. The Portland-based program is a cooperative effort between Maine Medical Center and Casco Bay Surgery, which is now part of Maine Medical Partners.

At Southern Maine Health Care, an expert team of providers offers laparoscopic weight-loss surgery that is less invasive than open surgery and has a speedier recovery time.
