Jennifer L Stone, PA-C
- Physician Assistant

I received my Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New England and my Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. My first position as a PA was in Emergency Medicine, where I was introduced to acute care medicine. I transitioned into Infectious Disease with a focus on outpatient antimicrobial therapy in the treatment of skin and soft tissue infections, chronic wound infections, and postoperative infections. It was in this specialty where I realized the importance of chronic disease management, including Obesity. Human physiology is fascinating and how disease effects the body is complex. As a provider, I want to practice medicine in a comprehensive manner. I strive to create a professional relationship with my patients built on mutual trust and understanding free of weight bias and stigmatism. Obesity is a multifactorial, chronic, incurable disease. It is a rewarding experience to improve the quality of life and life expectancy of my patients, using effective modalities such as pharmacotherapy and surgery. My passions outside of medicine revolve around my husband and daughter. I also love running; my favorite distance is the marathon.
