Endocrinology & Diabetes Care

Conditions related to the endocrine system can impact many areas of your health—and life. That’s why our skilled team partners with your primary care physician to provide you specialty care that’s coordinated with all your health care.

Maine Medical Partners — Endocrinology & Diabetes Center cares for patients with hormone (glandular) disorders and endocrine problems. We work with people who have thyroid disease, pituitary problems, disorders of growth and development, fertility problems, certain types of bone disease, diabetes mellitus, lipoprotein disorders and other hormone problems.

Our many effective treatments and programs offer important support for people living with diabetes and other endocrine-related conditions.

In addition to working with patients, all our endocrinologists teach at the University of  Vermont School of Medicine and teach medical students and residents at Maine Medical Center. If you would like to make an appointment with one of our providers, please contact your primary care physician to start the referral process.

Our Diabetes Education Program is recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) and is presented by certified diabetes educators. The program includes nutrition counseling (in individual and group settings), weight loss classes, pump training, and pre-diabetes classes.

We are open Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. We understand that health concerns don’t always fit into regular office hours. Our team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If the office is closed, our answering service will page the on call physician who will contact you as soon as possible. If you have an emergency, or feel you can’t wait for the on call physician to call you back, you should call 911.
