seal_echo (Color)

MaineHealth cardiovascular imaging and diagnostics services provide essential information for diagnosing cardiac issues, monitoring heart health and measuring treatment effectiveness. We use state-of-the-art equipment such as computed tomography (CT), cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), nuclear imaging (PET and SPECT) and angiography.

Advanced diagnostic imaging services, close to home

Many services are available at community hospitals across our health system so heart patients can access care close to home.

Next Steps for Patients

While some patients are candidates for self-referral to our cardiovascular specialists, we recommend that you ask your primary care physician for help with the process.

Provider Referrals

If you are a provider who would like to refer a patient for MaineHealth cardiovascular imaging and diagnostic services, please review our clinical guidelines and call 207-885-9905.
