The Center for Sleep Medicine at Waldo County General Hospital provides comprehensive sleep testing in a home-like environment. A sleep study helps to diagnose sleep disorders that may be causing disruptions in sleep and fatigue as well as other health concerns.

Each neutrally decorated, spacious private room is furnished with a queen-sized "Sleep Number Select Comfort" bed that patients can adjust to meet their preferred level of firmness. An armoire provides a safe place for clothing and belongings; a flat screen television, private bathroom and other amenities provide a private and comfortable setting.

WCGH Community Forum Location Change

Due to the high level of community interest in Waldo County General Hospital’s upcoming community forum regarding labor and delivery services, the hospital has moved the event to a larger venue. The forum will be held Wednesday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. inside the Belfast Area High School Gym, located at 25 Lions Way in Belfast.

Pen Bay, AIO Partnership Provides 27,000+ Pounds of Food to Community

A strategic alliance between Pen Bay Medical Center and the food market run by Area Interfaith Outreach Food & Energy Assistance has resulted in the distribution of 27,176 pounds of food through pantry shelves set up in several hospital locations.
