Pen Bay Internal Medicine, a department of Pen Bay Medical Center, is a group medical practice focusing on adult health and wellness.

Internal medicine encompasses the care of patients 18 and older, whether they are healthy or sick. Internal medicine specialize in the prevention, diagnosis and management of disease and chronic conditions. Pen Bay Internal Medicine providers offer a wide range of approaches to care. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are closed for appointments between 12:00 and 1:30 p.m., however, phones are answered during that time.

We are located in the Physicians Building on the Pen Bay Medical Center campus at 4 Glen Cove Drive, Rockport ME 04856. To make appointments or reach your provider, call 207-301-5800. Our fax number is 301-5322.

We kindly ask that should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments that you give us a 48 hours notice. This allows us to offer your slot to another patient.

Payments & insurance: We accept all major medical insurances including MaineCare and Medicaid. Payments can be sent to our billing office at 6 Glen Cove Drive, Rockport, ME 04856

Co-payments are expected at the time of service. We accept checks, cash or Visa/Mastercard credit cards.

Dr. Laurence is located off campus at 760 Commercial Street in Rockport. 

What is Integrated Medication-Assisted Treatment (IMAT)?

IMAT combines talk therapy (either individual or group counseling) with medicines that can control cravings and lessen withdrawal symptoms. The medicines help a person feel normal again so they can focus on therapy and help rebuild their life. This therapy can continue as long as medically needed. Pen Bay Internal Medicine is an IMAT treatment location

The Acute Respiratory Clinic (ARC), which conducts drive-thru COVID-19 testing at 731 Commercial St. in Rockport across from the Oakland Park Bowling Lanes, will continue to see patients by appointment Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ARC will no longer schedule appointments for Sundays.
