Our rheumatology specialists treat people of all ages with musculoskeletal and autoimmune disorders that can cause pain, swelling, stiffness and deformity.

    About Our Services

    Infusion therapy is offered in office for those patients under the care of Dr. Gramas who require IV medication for their disease. Our RN is trained in IV therapy and works with Dr. Gramas along with our certified MA, to provide compassionate care for all patients.

    At Pen Bay Rheumatology we offer the only DEXA testing in Knox County with the Hologic Discovery machine. These scans are perform by our x-ray technologist for the past 15 years.

    With a referral from your doctor, this test scans the hip and spine to check for thinning of bones. It takes about 20 minutes and there is no prep required.

    Pen Bay Rheumatology includes our physician Deirdre Gramas, MD, one infusion registered nurse, one medical assistant, two receptionists, an x-ray technician and an office coordinator. Our phone # is: 207-301-3730

    An additional physician, Mary Moran, MD is also available some Fridays in the Pen Bay Rheumatology office. To schedule an appointment with Dr. Moran, please call 207-505-4015.

    Most insurances are accepted. Co-payments are required at the time of your visit.
