The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital

Pediatric Surgery

Together, The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital and MMP Pediatric Surgery provide outstanding surgical care for the children of Northern New England. Our program includes Maine’s only board-certified, fellowship-trained pediatric surgery subspecialists.

We perform procedures ranging from routine to the most advanced, including minimally-invasive chest and abdomen surgery, neonatal (newborn) surgery, gastric/intestinal surgery and vascular surgery. We also participate in the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQUIP), which focuses on surgical quality in hospitals across the country.
