MaineHealth provides confidential interpreter services for deaf, hard-of-hearing and limited English proficient (LEP) patients at no cost for patients or families.
Professional interpreters have special training in medical terminology to better support both you and your provider. We encourage you to let them serve you during medical conversations.
MaineHealth patients can use an interpreter during phone calls to make or reschedule appointments, request refills, talk to their doctor, ask billing questions, or for any reason that supports patient care.
