Every year our generous community members organize fundraising events — from lemonade stands or fitness classes, to softball tournaments or musical performances, to bake sales or “jeans days” at the office and more!
Some community events raise $50 and some raise $50,000. But no matter the result, they all play an important role in helping the children and families cared for at The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital. And, you don’t need a lot of experience to make your event a success — just the energy and enthusiasm to make it happen!

Thank you for your interest in supporting The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital! Our Philanthropy team wants to help make sure that your event is a success. While we must review and approve your proposal in advance (to ensure it’s safe and aligns with the mission and policies of the hospital), we also hope to offer advice, resources and support. Please complete the Community Event Proposal Form and tell us about your idea!

Submit Your Community Event Proposal
If your event idea is a little bigger than our online fundraising platform, but you’re still interested in hosting an event to benefit The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital at Maine Medical Center please:
- Carefully review the Guidelines for Community Events
- Complete the Community Event Proposal Form
Once we receive your completed form, we will respond to your proposal within 5 business days.
