Application instructions

The October cohort can accept up to two fellows.

Program dates

  • October 1 – September 30
  • Applications are due June 15, 2026

Applicant requirements

  • All non-US citizens are required to have proper visas allowing for completion of the full, one-year fellowship program. MaineHealth Maine Medical Center cannot sponsor visas for this fellowship program.
  • Applicants must be graduating from, or have completed, an accredited PMHNP or PA program. 
    • For applicants who have not yet graduated at the time of application, the anticipated graduation date must be at least eight weeks prior to the cohort start date, as credentialing takes a minimum of eight weeks.
  • Licensed applicants must hold an unencumbered license.

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Letter of intent
  • 2 letters of recommendation (i.e. Preceptor, Program Faculty or Director, Supervisor)
  • Official transcripts are required upon completion of graduate program and prior to starting residency. Please send an unencrypted PDF file of your transcripts.
  • If you are a current student, please send a copy of your transcript that reflects your most recent student status. Please send an unencrypted PDF of your transcripts.
