Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Our pulmonary rehabilitation exercise and education program is designed to improve and maintain your overall fitness and help you live a more active life. Your SMHC team will design a program that helps you increase physical fitness and develop an understanding of your oxygen needs at rest and while active. Creating an understanding of chronic lung disease management is a key component of this program. By improving your strength through exercise, everyday activities become a little easier to do. Exercise will also help you to become less short of breath. When you are not as short of breath, your quality of life improves.
