Keeping you safe is our top priority. Don’t delay needed care. While our services may look different, MaineHealth remains committed to providing high-quality care, close to home. Learn more about new safety measures in place at all care locations.

Oncology services provide maximum convenience and privacy for the growing number of patients diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders. Located on both the 1st and 2nd floors, oncology has examining rooms and a large open area for the administration of medications and other services.

This service greatly benefits patients and their families who before had to travel long distances for the same care and treatment they can receive right here.

Medical oncologist and hematologist Dr. Ridhi Gupta, Dr. Rachit Kumar, and Jillian Savage, AGNP-C, together provide office visits at Franklin Memorial Hospital each week Monday-Thursday on the 2nd floor. All are affiliated with MaineGeneral’s Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care.

Other services offered include chemotherapy, biotherapy, home chemotherapy surveillance, intravenous fluids administration, blood product transfusion, and hematologic medication administration. These services are administered by chemotherapy/biotherapy certified registered nurses.

Franklin Memorial Hospital is a proud partner of the MaineHealth Cancer Care Network, a coordinated system of care with the support of the Harold Alfond® Foundation.
