Gastroenterology & Nutrition

The Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital offers Maine’s largest and most comprehensive resource for managing digestive, liver and nutritional disorders in infants, children, adolescents and young adults. From state-of-the-art diagnostic technology to leading-edge medical and surgical treatment options for a range of conditions, it’s all right here, close to home. We offer the region’s only multidisciplinary Aerodigestive Clinic for children with complex problems affecting the airway, pulmonary function and the GI tract. In order to make the care we provide more accessible throughout Maine, our pediatric gastroenterologists see patients on an outpatient basis in Oakland, Caribou and at St. Mary's in Lewiston, in addition to the inpatient and outpatient services offered Portland.
