The Maine QuitLink is a free service providing evidence-based tobacco treatment for all Maine residents. It is an initiative of the MaineHealth Center for Tobacco Independence supported by funding from the Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention.
Individuals can contact the Maine QuitLink directly or be referred by their provider. People who are ready to quit within 30 days may be eligible to for free nicotine replacement therapy vouchers.
Providers play a key role in connecting their patients to quit services. Referrals can be made through EPIC or through the Maine QuitLink Patient Referral Form. Since 2001, the Maine QuitLink has served over 100,000 Maine tobacco users.
