Mike Matteo, Director
Mike comes to us with over 20 years of insurance experience, 8 years of which were spent specializing in Occupational and Employee Health where he oversaw 10 Occupational Health clinics in CT. In his role as Director he will manage all new business opportunities along with overseeing the daily operations of both our Sanford and Biddeford locations. Jen Stoddard, Practice Manager
Jen joined WorkWell in December of 2021. Her background includes working as a Medical Assistant as well as managing a busy local walk-in clinic. Jen manages the daily operations of both the Sanford & Biddeford locations. You can reach Jen at Jennifer.stoddard@mainehealth.org or phone 207-294-8609.

Uchechukwu N Onuoha, MD, Medical Director of Occupational Health for WorkWell
Dr. Onuoha completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, followed by Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the University of Connecticut Health Center and Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, respectively. Dr. Onuoha is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and received her Doctorate at Temple University School of Medicine, both in Philadelphia. She also holds a Master of Public Health from Mount Sinai School of Medical, New York. Dr. Onuoha considers it a rewarding privilege to treat work related and environmental illnesses/injuries because she supports people in restoring their health and empowering them to optimally re-engage with their work and environment.

Paul Upham, MD
Dr. Upham received his Bachelor’s Degree from College of the Holy Cross and his Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. He then went on to complete an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical Center of Central MassachusettsMemorial. Dr. Upham has been practicing Occupational Medicine for over 20 years and served for as Medical Director for WorkWell for 18 years.

If you’re a WorkWell customer, you can have access to our new and improved client portal, iSYSTOC. Available 24/7 and on demand, iSYSTOC is a convenient and secure online portal that provides you with access to important injury, treatment and drug screen information. Benefits include:

  • 24/7 online access. Access relevant results, documentation and forms completed by the provider online, anytime you need them. All you have to do is log in.
