Cancer Care

The Maine Children's Cancer Program (MCCP) is the pediatric cancer program of the Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital (BBCH) at Maine Medical Center (MMC). Our team provides the state’s most comprehensive diagnostic and treatment resources for children diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders.

Our team includes board-certified and fellowship-trained pediatric hematology/oncology physicians; certified pediatric oncology nurses; social workers and research associates. We use advanced diagnostic technology and extensive pediatric cancer resources to deliver care on par with the world’s leading children’s cancer hospitals

In addition to providing outstanding clinical care, the MCCP has a very strong research program. We are members of Children's Oncology Group - the leading childhood cancer research organization. MCCP’s active involvement in the group’s clinical research trials offers our patients access to the latest and best therapies.
