When Do I Need Urgent Care?
The medical staff at SMHC Walk-In Care provides non-emergency care, including x-rays. We provide care without an appointment, except for COVID testing or symptoms. Our walk-in clinics are designed to offer a healthcare option basic medical services at a fraction of the cost of emergency rooms.

Urgent Care vs. ER
The difference between urgent care and emergency rooms is the severity of the health issue. In the case of life-threatening emergencies, please call 911 for your nearest local Emergency Medical Services (EMS).
Life-threatening conditions include:
- Heart Attack - Discomfort in the chest or other areas of the upper body, shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, or lightheadedness.
- Stroke - Sudden numbness or weakness in the face, arms, or legs, especially on one side of the body, sudden confusion or trouble speaking or understanding, trouble seeing in one or both eyes, sudden trouble walking, dizziness, loss of balance or coordination, sudden severe headache with no known cause.
- Sudden Loss of Responsiveness
