The Aortic Disease Program at Maine Medical Partners provides comprehensive care and state-of-the-art surgical procedures for patients with a wide range of aortic diseases and conditions.

Thoracic aortic aneurysm repair

  • Medtronic Endurant EVO Clinical Trial (concluded 2021) which demonstrated the safe and effective use of the Endurant Evo AAA stent graft system for endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA)
  • MaineHealth participates in the VQI-VISION (Vascular Quality Initiative – Vascular Implant Surveillance & Interventional Outcomes Network) Steering Committee, which is a partnership among institutions VQI, CMS, FDA, and industry, to investigate device-specific outcomes.
