She completed her Orthopedic APP Fellowship Graduate at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, N.C., and holds a bachelor’s in anthropology with a minor in Islamic studies from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
Slaughter attended the University of California, San Francisco, where she received her master’s entry in nursing practice in 2014 and her Master of Science — certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner in 2016.
