Carolyn Slaughter, CNM/WHNP, Joins Waldo Women’s Health

Belfast — Waldo County General Hospital is pleased to welcome Carolyn Slaughter, CNM/WHNP, to its women’s health team.  

Slaughter attended the University of California, San Francisco, where she received her master’s entry in nursing practice in 2014 and her Master of Science — certified nurse midwife and women’s health nurse practitioner in 2016. She completed her midwifery integration residency at Marin General Hospital and Marin Community Clinics in Greenbrae, Calif., in 2016. She also holds a bachelor’s in international relations from Connecticut College.

Prior to joining Waldo, Slaughter worked as a certified nurse midwife at Midcoast Women’s Health Midwifery in Brunswick, and at Dignity Health OB-GYN in Santa Cruz, Calif.
