The practice will become Maine Medical Partners – Nephrology on Monday, June 28

PORTLAND, Maine – Maine Nephrology Associates in Portland is joining MaineHealth and will become Maine Medical Partners – Nephrology (MMP – Nephrology) on Monday, June 28. Neither the practice’s location at 1600B Congress Street nor its phone number, 207-774-5222, will change.

Patients will continue to see the same expert care team at the clinic, including Michael Akom, MD, Patricia Cantlin, DO, Mihai Cosma, MD, Mahendra Mangray, MD, Paul Parker, MD, John Vella, MD, James Wasserman, MD. They will benefit from seamless, coordinated care between MMP – Nephrology and Maine Medical Center’s Maine Transplant Program.

Services include, but are not limited to, evaluation and management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, electrolyte imbalance, kidney replacement therapy and access care and dietary counseling and education.
