2021 Scholarship Application

Applications are due by April 1, 2021. Recipients will be notified in mid-April. Apply online.

Memorial Hospital Scholarship - $1,000 per recipient

Must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • High School senior going into a health related field or college student in a health related field
  • The student must be from SAU9, SAD 72 or SAU13
  • The son, daughter or grandson/daughter of an employee or a Memorial Hospital Volunteer.
  • A Memorial Hospital employee who is attending college in a health related field

VNA – Kathleen Sheehan Memorial Award - $1,000 per recipient

Must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited health related field of study program
  • Must reside in Carroll County, NH or Western, ME

Memorial Hospital Volunteers Scholarship Program Award- $1,000 per recipient

Must meet one or more of the following criteria:

  • Must be an employee of Memorial Hospital or a Memorial Hospital Volunteer pursuing health related studies on a full time basis.
  • Must be the relative of an employee of Memorial Hospital or a Memorial Hospital Volunteer, pursuing health related studies on a full time basis.

Memorial Hospital Volunteers Healthcare Studies Scholarship - $1,000 per recipient

Must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a Kennett High School Graduating senior pursuing healthcare studies

Miranda Leavitt Diabetes Scholarship - up to $1,000 per recipient

Must meet one or both of the following criteria:

  • Must be a student residing in Carroll County or Western Maine who has type 1 or type 2 diabetes;
  • Must be a student residing in Carroll County or Western Maine who is enrolled in full-time college and pursing studies related to healthcare, nutrition, exercise physiology or health education.

Only online applications will be considered. Awards are based on scholastic ability, applicable work experience, student essay and demonstrated financial need.
