Emergency Medicine offers a unique combination of variety, complexity, and the privilege to care for people at some of their most vulnerable moments. That is what drew me to emergency medicine, and I continue to enjoy the opportunity to meet and help patients and their families every day. I grew up in a small rural town and feel fortunate to now be able to care for a similar community. The ER can be a chaotic and intimidating place, and my goal with every visit is to help ease those fears and make the experience a little less scary.  I believe everyone deserves accessible, compassionate care and should feel welcome in our ER.
