“Any patient, any issue, any time.” This is the mantra which drew me to work in emergency medicine. As a board-certified emergency medicine physician, I feel privileged to work to provide high quality and empathetic care to those whose misfortunes or circumstances land them in the emergency department. Having worked previously in safety net hospitals in LA, rural California, and Guam, I embrace the challenges of work in resource-limited settings and aim to provide my patients “big city” care in the rural setting. My clinical approach emphasizes good communication and patient autonomy and I strive to ensure that all patients receive compassionate, high-quality emergency services close to home.
