SOUTH PORTLAND & WESTBROOK, MEMaine Behavioral Healthcare (MBH) announced today that Jason Rosenburg, MSN, a fellowship-trained nurse leader, will assume the role of Chief Nursing Officer on September 12, 2022.

Rosenberg is no stranger to the MaineHealth system as he will be transitioning from his current role as director of inpatient services at Stephens Memorial Hospital in Norway, a position he assumed in 2019. As CNO, Rosenberg will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of nursing care, treatment and services throughout MBH, including Spring Harbor Hospital.

“Jason’s expertise in nursing leadership, passion for behavioral health services and knowledge of the MaineHealth system made him an ideal candidate for this position,” said Kelly Barton, MBH president. “He demonstrates an entrepreneurial spirit and ability to connect and engage with staff to build programs and improve processes that will support care and safety throughout our settings.”

Before his current role, Rosenberg served at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, where he held leadership positions as director of emergency services and behavioral services. He received a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Saint Joseph’s College in Maine.

“I am thrilled and honored to join Maine Behavioral Healthcare,” Rosenberg said. “I look forward to working with such dedicated care team members to help meet our vision of working together, so our communities are the healthiest in America.
