ROCKPORT, Dec. 9, 2020 – Pen Bay Medical Center (PBMC) is pleased to welcome Karl Santiago, MD, as it continues to expand its pediatric practice to meet the growing demand for pediatric care in the Midcoast region.

Dr. Santiago recently completed his residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland. He earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. In addition to having worked as a medical educator with a focus on pediatrics, Dr. Santiago has served on several research teams, including one that assessed water purification practices in rural Haiti.

The addition of Dr. Santiago brings the number of providers at Pen Bay Pediatrics to six. Pen Bay Pediatrics recently relocated to the new Health Center building at 15 Anchor Drive on the PBMC campus in Rockport.
