Support groups can help you cope with a new diagnosis, chronic condition or loss of a loved one. They are also a safe space to discuss personal health goals and challenges.

- Open to anyone who identifies as a senior or cares for seniors, this group provides:
- Education on issues of importance to the older adult community
- A welcoming space to create community, combat isolation and find peer support.
- Facilitated by Amanda Armstrong, LCSW
- Group meets: 2nd Thursday of each month 10 am - 11:30 am at the MaineHealth Watson Health Center Community Room in Damariscotta, Maine
- This free support group provides a safe and inclusive space for those concerned with social, political and environmental issues. Participants learn anxiety management skills and connect with each other to gain support, validation and hope.
- Facilitated by Amanda Armstrong, LCSW & Lauri Stetson, LCSW
- Groups meets: 2nd & 4th Fridays of each month from 3 - 4 pm at the MaineHealth Watson Health Center Community Room in Damariscotta, Maine
- This free support group provides compassion, education and resources for those who understand the challenges and joys of being a caregiver for a loved one.
- Facilitated by Lauri Stetson, LCSW
- Group meets: 2nd Friday of each month from 1 - 2 pm at the MaineHealth Watson Health Center Community Room in Damariscotta, Maine
This free monthly support group is for those who have lost loved ones and are struggling with meaning, purpose and connection. There are two locations.
- Damariscotta: Facilitated by Lauri Stetson, LCSW, this group meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 4 - 5 pm at the MaineHealth Watson Health Center Community Room in Damariscotta, Maine
- Boothbay Harbor: Facilitated by Lisa Carbone, this group meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from 4 - 5 pm in the Cochrane Conference Room at MaineHealth Primary Care - Boothbay Harbor. Please call 207-633-7820 prior to attending.
