- Why Maine Medical Center?I was lucky enough to rotate at Maine Medical Center as a Tufts Maine Track student and I immediately felt right at home. From residents to attendings, I saw genuine happiness and excitement to be at work. Although residency training is known to be difficult, I chose MMC because I know I’ll be happy and supported while going through it.

- Why Maine Medical Center?I first heard about Maine Medical Center as I was just starting my fourth year of medical school. A few mentors of mine had either rotated through or had done residency at MMC and had nothing but good things to say. Even thought my interview process was done virtually, I knew immediately that the anesthesiology program had something special. Beyond the academics and clinical practice of anesthesia, everyone I met was very engaging and I felt both the attendings and residents were very happy here. And I can’t forget to mention Maine’s beautiful geography and outdoor access.

- Why MaineHealth Maine Medical Center? When searching for the right residency, I prioritized finding a group of instructors and colleagues who cared about my growth as a person and clinician, a high volume of high acuity cases that would provide the exposure I need to achieve confidence in my clinical skills, and an enriching environment outside the hospital to allow me to recharge. Maine Medical Center has all of these, and after my interview I had no difficulty imaging myself training here.
