We are excited to announce the launch of our Combined Nephrology and Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at MaineHealth Maine Medical Center. This innovative, dual-certification program provides a rigorous and immersive training experience for applicants aiming to become leaders at the intersection of nephrology and critical care. As the state’s largest academic and referral center, our program offers high-volume, high-acuity exposure with comprehensive training in both specialties.
Fellows who complete this program will be equipped with the expertise and confidence to manage the full spectrum of kidney diseases. They will also receive comprehensive training in all aspects of critical care medicine, including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic management, procedural skills, and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO).
