The Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship faculty is a congenial and talented group of fellowship-trained anesthesiologists. Why Maine Medical Center: Maine Medical Center offers me the opportunity to practice cutting edge medicine in a great location with unlimited access to great outdoors. Portland is a great place to live with all the amenities of a large city but the feel of a large town. I have the opportunity to work extensively with residents and fellows and teach cardiac, vascular, and thoracic anesthesia to future generations of anesthesiologists

What did you do before medical school: I went straight from college to medical school. I did spend one very interesting summer working at SeaWorld in Orlando!
Why Maine Medical Center: MMC is a great place to work. The acuity can be very high, so the patients are always keeping me engaged. We have a really great community of healthcare professionals working together to provide excellent care to those patients. Also, I love living in Maine! We have a fantastic quality of life here, especially for my young family.

Why Maine Medical Center: Professionally, MMC was a great fit for me and my wife who is an emergency medicine physician. Personally (most important), Maine is a wonderful place to live and raise our children. We take advantage of beautiful beaches, mountains and everything in between.
