The Adult Cardiac Anesthesiology Fellowship faculty is a congenial and talented group of fellowship-trained anesthesiologists. We are fortunate to have the best and brightest, many who have chosen to leave 'big city' programs and settle in Maine for its outstanding quality of life and to work at a hospital dedicated to the highest standard of patient care.

Why Maine Medical Center: Maine Medical Center offers me the opportunity to practice cutting edge medicine in a great location with unlimited access to great outdoors. Portland is a great place to live with all the amenities of a large city but the feel of a large town. I have the opportunity to work extensively with residents and fellows and teach cardiac, vascular, and thoracic anesthesia to future generations of anesthesiologists

What did you do before medical school: I went straight from college to medical school. I did spend one very interesting summer working at SeaWorld in Orlando!
Why Maine Medical Center: MMC is a great place to work. The acuity can be very high, so the patients are always keeping me engaged. We have a really great community of healthcare professionals working together to provide excellent care to those patients. Also, I love living in Maine! We have a fantastic quality of life here, especially for my young family.

Why Maine Medical Center: Professionally, MMC was a great fit for me and my wife who is an emergency medicine physician. Personally (most important), Maine is a wonderful place to live and raise our children. We take advantage of beautiful beaches, mountains and everything in between.
