Gift Types
Make a cash donation (paid in cash, by check or by credit card) directly to LincolnHealth to support our Annual Fund or designate your donation to a specific program.
Make a gift of your appreciated stock, mutual funds, or bonds. LincolnHealth will then sell it and use the proceeds. If the stock is worth more than you paid for it, you will receive a greater tax benefit than if you’d paid cash.
Designate a portion of your will or trust (cash, property, or a share of the remainder of the estate) to LincolnHealth. This gift costs you nothing now, but still helps LincolnHealth build financial strength.
Name LincolnHealth as a beneficiary on your paid-up insurance policy or transfer ownership of a policy you no longer need.
Name LincolnHealth as a beneficiary of all or any portion of your IRA, 401(k), or other qualified plan.
The IRA Charitable Rollover allows individuals age 70½ and older to make direct transfers totaling up to $100,000 per year to 501(c)(3) charities, without having to count the transfers as income for federal income tax purposes.
