To share in a patient’s journey through all walks of life from wellness and laughter to illness and tears, is a great privilege.

I decided to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner after hearing a story on Maine Public Radio in the 1990’s about a team of providers working with homeless people in Portland.

My favorite thing about Maine, the state with the oldest population, is the people. Older adults are a complex and special patient population. I feel honored to be able to interact with and provide care for so many amazing individuals.
