I decided to become a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner after hearing a story on Maine Public Radio in the 1990’s about a team of providers working with homeless people in Portland.

My favorite thing about Maine, the state with the oldest population, is the people. Older adults are a complex and special patient population. I feel honored to be able to interact with and provide care for so many amazing individuals.

I graduated from Princeton University magna cum laude, and attended medical school at Medical College of Pennsylvania (now Drexel University College of Medicine) in Philadelphia.
