I specialize in peripheral vascular surgery, which involves taking care of the all the blood vessels outside of the heart. This includes the carotid arteries leading from the heart to the brain, arteries in the abdomen, feet, and legs, and arteries leading to such internal organs as the kidneys, as well as varicose veins and venous disease. I attended Boston University School of Medicine and completed my general surgery residency at Boston Medical Center, followed by a Vascular Surgery Fellowship. I practiced in Massachusetts before relocating to Maine.
