Our care team members conduct research on a wide variety of psychiatric disorders and behavioral traits in partnership with the MaineHealth Institute for Research. Topics include groundbreaking psycho-social research as well as advanced biological studies.

An array of shiny new solar panels now grace the roof of the 28,000 square-foot facility that opened in August 2021. Since their installation, the solar panels have reduced energy costs for the facility by approximately 30%. The panels have also reduced 13,329+ pounds of CO2 emission, which is equivalent to planting more than 100 trees, and those numbers are rising every day.
