William Dean Jeanblanc

I completed my psychiatry residency at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in 1988. Prior to joining the staff of Maine Medical Center, I served as Medical Director for inpatient and outpatient psychiatry services at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough, New Hampshire, where I practiced for 15 years following my residency training. While on the staff of Monadnock Community Hospital, I also served as President of the medical staff and Chair of the Ethics Advisory Committee. I am Board certified in both adult and geriatric psychiatry. My professional interests include treatment of refractory mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and medical ethics. I currently serve as the Director of Geriatric Psychiatry at Maine Medical Center, where I am privileged to work with a wonderful team of professionals.

When not at work, my wife and I enjoy taking advantage of the wonderful State of Maine. We enjoy spending time at our home on Rangeley Lake, where we enjoy hiking, as well as water activities such as kayaking and swimming in the summer, and skiing during winter months in the Western Mountains of Maine.
