Sheela Krishnan, MD

As a general cardiologist, I care for patients with a wide range of cardiac conditions. I also have specific clinical interests in echocardiography, and sports cardiology and cardiovascular fitness. I believe in the central importance of the patient-physician relationship and take pride in partnering with patients to help them achieve their best cardiovascular health.

I obtained my undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University. I completed internship and residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital, and cardiology and advanced echocardiography fellowships at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my spouse and children and our family and friends, practicing yoga, and admiring Maine’s coastal beauty.
