Robert B Lewis III

Dr. Robert Lewis is an orthopedic surgeon in Brunswick and is affiliated with MaineHealth and Mid Coast Hospital. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Dr. Lewis specializes in foot & ankle surgery. His fellowship with Greg Pomeroy at New England Foot and Ankle Specialists had a focus on revision and complex foot and ankle reconstruction. He is experienced in minimally invasive bunion and hammertoe correction, foot and ankle arthritis treatment including ankle replacement, traumatic injuries to the foot and ankle, flatfoot and cavovarus foot reconstructions, ankle arthroscopy, sports related foot and ankle injuries, Achilles tendon repair including minimally invasive techniques, and pediatric foot and ankle surgery. In his training, Dr. Lewis also received extensive training in pediatric orthopedics. He is a full member of the American Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) as well as a board-certified member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). Dr. Lewis is also a member of the international Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Society (MIFAS). When not caring for the Midcoast community he enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs on water and on land.
