Rebecca C Hunt, MD
- Obstetrics & Gynecology
I came to medicine—and women’s health —from a background in the humanities. That experience shaped my belief that every patient brings a unique story, perspective, and set of goals to their care. I feel privileged to care for patients through some of the most important moments in their lives, and I strive to build collaborative relationships that support their reproductive health goals and overall well-being.
My clinical interests include reproductive justice, general gynecology including menopause, low- and high-risk obstetrics, and LGBTQIA+ health.
As a physician, I am always learning, and I find great joy in teaching the next generation of physicians. This is so important to me, as we must educate the next generation of clinicians to carry the work forward. I am especially proud of my simulation work with nurses, colleagues, and trainees to advance maternal safety and improve care for the patients and families we serve.
In my free time, I enjoy writing, making art, and spending time with my family.
