Lucy E Rosenbaum, MD

I became an adolescent medicine physician because I’m passionate about caring for adolescents and young adults and supporting them as they grow into adulthood. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where young people feel comfortable asking questions, sharing their concerns, and being active partners in their care.

My approach is patient-centered, evidence-based, and collaborative, with a focus on building trust and helping each patient feel heard and understood. I have special interests in acne, birth control and contraception, menstrual concerns including heavy menstrual bleeding, and eating disorders across all ages. I especially enjoy helping young people navigate the physical, emotional, and social changes that come with this stage of life and making sure my patients understand their health and medical concerns, so they feel informed, empowered, and confident in making decisions about their care.

I completed my undergraduate education at Boston University and earned my medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. I completed combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency training at The Ohio State University, followed by a fellowship in Adolescent Medicine at Indiana University.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling.
