I have a special interest in working with culturally diverse, under-served and at risk populations. I spent the first ten years of my career as a primary care provider in these communities. Since working in palliative medicine I have developed a special interest in the pediatric population and have been committed to developing a pediatric palliative program. I believe that all people should have equal access to health care. I strive to improve the quality of life of my patients and their families and ensure that they are well informed and make medical decisions that are rooted in their beliefs and values.
