Kaitlyn Halsema, DO

Kaitlyn Halsema

I was first drawn to mental health field as a teenager, experiencing how my friends and family struggled with depression, body image, and acceptance. I decided to pursue psychiatry as  I learned how valuable the combined, thoughtful use of medications and psychotherapy can be. I love working with those who are most in need of advocacy and a kind ,nonjudgmental ear. Outside of work, I spend my time reading and listening to fiction, watching movies, hanging out with family (both human and feline) and enjoying all the markets, book stores, and cafes Maine has to offer.
