Heather Metcalf, MD She/Her

I grew up in New Mexico and came to Maine for my medical training, where I quickly developed a deep appreciation for the people and communities here. I feel fortunate to now care for patients in Maine as a physician specializing in both family medicine and addiction medicine. My particular interests are in perinatal addiction medicine and reproductive health. I believe good medical care begins with listening and meeting people where they are. My goal is to create a space where patients feel respected, understood, and cared for as their whole selves.
