Gabrielle Ray, MD
I became an orthopedic surgeon because I’m passionate about musculoskeletal health and believe our physical health is intricately linked to our overall quality of life. I specialize in joint replacement surgery because there is nothing more gratifying than giving patients the ability to prolong an active, healthy lifestyle through movement. Specifically, I am thrilled to return to my home state of Maine and fulfill a lifelong dream of providing expert surgical care to my community members. Whether you want to get back to a walk or run on Maine's beaches, or skiing in Maine's mountains, or simply get up out of a chair without debilitating pain, I take great pride and joy in restoring your meaningful quality of life with a healthy joint. I have a special interest in minimally invasive hip replacement surgery including direct anterior and STAR approaches, unicompartmental knee replacement surgery and revision hip and knee replacement.
Outside of my career, my favorite activities include running, exercising, hiking, playing golf, and spending time with my husband and 2 children, along with our extended family here in Maine.
