As a Consultation-Liaison psychiatrist, I enjoy working with patients as well as their primary medical/surgical teams to provide the best care possible, which needs to address both physical health and mental health.  I believe that both are intimately connected, and better physical recovery is possible when mental health is optimized.  Our team works with patients with a variety of mental health and substance use disorders, as well as people who may be struggling with adjusting to a new medical condition or trauma.
