Christian T Sorenson, PA-C
- Certified Physician Assistant

I am a deeply driven veteran and doctorally trained Family Medicine Physician Associate currently practicing in Southern Maine. I received my doctoral education and additional practicum training through the University of Lynchburg. Prior to this, I attended the prestigious Brown University where I earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Leadership. I received my initial PA education from MGH Institute of Health Professions Physician Assistant program where I conducted my clinical training through the Mass General Brigham system. Before my PA career began, I served nearly 9 years in the US Navy with multiple deployments overseas. Given my military background and time spent overseas, I witnessed the dire need for medicine so many struggle to receive. I have dedicated this yearning to serving the communities most in need; my fellow veterans and those in rural and impoverished communities. Because of my deep connection to the veteran community I dedicate my free time to volunteering with the nonprofit One More Wave, specializing in providing surf therapy for disabled veterans. Additionally, I have immense passion for education, teaching part time as an Adjunct clinical professor for the PA program at UNE and I clinically precept PA students. In the past, I have been praised by professors and former colleagues for my ability to connect with others and bring strength to the team through my communication skills, work ethic, and empathy for others. I have found that my military background has given me resilience and a willingness to accomplish any task at hand with extreme proficiency. Given my current position as a physician assistant I bring this same passion to my patients every single day.
