Cary Fishburne

Urogynecology is an important medical and surgical sub specialty focused on improving fundamental quality of life concerns in women's health. I initially developed expertise in urogynecology while serving in the Navy on faculty of the National Naval Medical Center. I greatly enjoy the art of understanding each patient's unique needs and goals to craft an individualized care plan. I have special interest and experience in urinary and bowel incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse, minimally invasive surgical options to include robotics for complex benign gynecology, surgical need, neuromodulation, and pelvic pain concerns. Outside of medicine, my interests revolve around family, exploring the beauty of Maine, reading, and exercise.
