Paul J Evans, PA

Paul J Evans

My involvement in orthopedics spans more than twenty years.  Although I have assisted Dr. Babikian in orthopedic trauma surgery from the onset of my career, initially the majority of my time was spent in hand surgery, spine surgery and sports medicine. This allowed me to obtain knowledge in the different specialties of the field of medicine I have always wanted to be involved in. However, as my career evolved, I became more aligned with Dr. Babikian’s practice, which was largely a trauma orthopedic practice, but later became a MIS total hip replacement practice.  Initially, I thought being so specialized would not be fulfilling; however, it has allowed me to become very knowledgeable in the world of anterolateral MIS hip replacements and become very familiar with the care Dr. Babikian expects his patients to receive.  We have changed the way hip patients are cared for at MMC and we have developed very efficient and proficient pathway for patient care. One of MMC values is “patient centered care” and this is the cornerstone of the care we provide Dr. Babikain’s patients.
