Deborah E Courtney, FNP

I have a long history in cardiac care at Maine Medical Center. I have worked in cardiac critical care, general cardiology and cardiac rehabilitation. I have experience as a bedside practitioner, nurse educator and nurse manager, and as an advanced practice provider.

I received my Bachelor’s in Nursing from U. Maine, and my Master’s in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Southern Maine. I completed post graduate training at Saint Joseph’s college of Maine as a Family Nurse Practitioner and am certified through AANP and ANCC.

As a nurse practitioner in the Heart Valve Program at Maine Medical Center, and am pleased to help patients connect with the leading care and technology available for valvular heart disease. I enjoy getting to know patients and their families and I try to help patients understand their disease, available treatments, and the excellent care Maine Medical Center can offer.
